About Christa
For Christa Malsbury, real estate is about more than buying or selling a property. It’s about understanding how a home supports the people living in it — especially during life transitions involving aging, caregiving, accessibility, downsizing, or relocation.
Christa’s professional journey began in Occupational Therapy in 2010. Her experience includes acute care, skilled nursing, community re-entry, and home-based care, giving her a unique perspective on how people move through, use, and live within their homes.
In 2021, Christa became a Realtor® and quickly earned her Seniors Real Estate Specialist® designation. Today, through Right Fit Real Estate, she combines her real estate experience with her occupational therapy background to serve seniors, caregivers, adult children supporting aging parents, and families throughout the South Bay, West Los Angeles, and Long Beach areas.
Most Realtors® have experience evaluating a property from a real estate perspective. Christa brings an additional lens.
She has stood in hallways assessing whether a doorway is wide enough for a wheelchair and helped patients relearn how to navigate their own kitchens after a stroke. That experience shapes the way she approaches real estate today.

Through the Right Fit Living Assessment, Christa offers a comprehensive in-home consultation for families wondering whether an aging parent’s current home still fits their needs or evaluating a prospective home for long-term safety, accessibility, and independence.
The assessment includes a conversation about the client’s goals and challenges, a guided home tour focused on mobility, safety, and accessibility, photo and video documentation, a written Home Consultation Report, and recommendations for possible modifications and next steps.
Christa is affiliated with Keller Williams Los Angeles Harbor, a brokerage with more than 40 years of service. Beyond serving her own clients, she also mentors and coaches fellow agents at her brokerage, sharing the systems, strategies, and human-first philosophy she believes every client deserves.
